Judge Jayne was elected November 4th, 2008 as the first Justice of the Maricopa County Justice Courts. Judge Jayne servers at the pleasure of the Presiding Judge, Lester Pearce. That same year, the 86-member Arizona Justice of the Peace Association appointed Judge Jayne to be its legislative Committee Chairman for a year.

During his many years of civic service, Judge Clancy Jayne has always strived to find the perfect balance of smart planning and economic growth while maintaining a high quality of livability for the citizens in the greater Phoenix area.
Judge Jayne was privileged to serve on the Deer Valley Village planning committee and chair the North Gateway Village committee for six years – during a time of exponential growth and development in the North Valley. At the same time, Judge Jayne also served on several school district committees for bond votes and unique district issues.
